Preschool

Our preschool offers a loving, enriching environment that allows each child to grow spiritually, academically, emotionally, socially, and physically. Individuality and creativity are encouraged and developed by recognizing our gifts from God.

The program has an academic focus, as well as a play component to meet the developmental needs of all children.

Preschool Highlights:

Practice prereading skills and writing skills with Zoo Phonics and Handwriting Without Tears.

Develop small and large motor skills.

Explore math concepts through counting, sorting, classifying and graphing activities.

Develop an understanding of God's love and friendship.

Educational field trips for hands-on learning.

Teacher directed, gym activities, arts and crafts.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten is an exciting year of growing, learning, and making friendships. Many academic skills are learned and practiced. Children gain self-confidence as they see themselves as active learners each day.

A variety of themeatic units are used to correlate learning among all areas of learning so that children can make connections and have the opportunity to apply their knowledge.

Children develop their reading skills by being immersed in a print rich environment. Time is spent gaining letter knowledge through the use of the Zoo Phonics program.
